Indulge in a flavorful, savory dish with this mouth-watering Korean beef recipe for your meal prep! Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- 24oz 93%-96% lean beef (leaner is probably better)
- 2 tsp Sesame oil
- 1.5 tbsp minced garlic
- Chopped Green onions (greens only)
Sauce/Marinade:
- 30g Brown sugar
- 80g Soy sauce
- 20g Gochujang Korean chili sauce
- Few dashes of red chili flakes
In a small bowl combine Brown sugar, Soy sauce, Gochujang, and red chili flakes. Set it aside for now.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the sesame oil and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, then add your lean beef. Once it’s about 50% cooked, pour in the sauce and let it simmer until fully cooked. If you want a thicker sauce, mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 2 ounces of water, then add it to the pan. Boil until the sauce thickens.
Finally, sprinkle the green onions and give them a good mix or top each serving.
Serve over rice, a salad, or as tacos. Enjoy!
